This one off zine tells the story of Joey Torrey, a one time boxer who ended up in prison.and his somewhat bizarre experience
with the justice system. Basically an autobiography of sorts, Torry tells of how he got into boxing, gangs, and how what
was supposed to be a plea deal ended up being a decades long journey through the prison system in California and elsewhere
as well as his brief respite of freedom. Mixing the story with some legal documents, Torrey's story of prison life, gangs,
betrayal, and wondering if you'll die in prison makes for a read that piques interest and makes one wonder how quickly everything
can change. While strictly told from one person's point of view, this tale is chilling and sometimes a little scary when
contemplating how the legal system may work or not work. (BOONE)
