SEX STAINS - "Sex Stains Exposed" demo
This is a band I've been wanting to tell people about for a while and even have been letting certain friends in on them
but hadn't really had time to play the demo until now. Sex Stains hails from Los Angeles with a brand of danceable punk meets
art rock that almost demands you move in response. Forged on a constantly moving rhythm section and driving echo laden guitar,
this quintet delivers three songs here that take on personal topics such as adjusting to a new city while touching on bigger
issues such as class conflict and sexism in the process (for example). Dual vocalists often act as counterpoints to each other,
adding additional context when not singing in harmony here. What is evident on this demo is music that's driving, sticks in
your head, and proves that you can rock out and still have something to dance to. Looking forward to their first album (reportedly
already recorded) and hoping the band can take the time away from work and grad school to tour outside California . Until
