I came across this single a few onths back and was curious about it.  However, I wasn’t able to pick it up and check it out until very recently.  This single finds BTDATD throwing down an uptempo couple of melodic punk rock tracks peppered with a bit of post hardcore flavor woven in.  This is full of between the eyes rhythms, these personal leaning (or seemingly personal leaning) tracksfuse high energy guitar fueled raveups delivered with an impact similar to a kick in the face.  While I know very little about this band before I found this little single (also available on download), the songs here offer up a good introduction to Between the Devil and the Deep.  Check it out and make up your mind for yourselves.  (BOONE)
