I first found out about this band after hearing them on Pat’s Power Pop and Punk Hours a while back and wanted to hear the album.  The debut full length from The Cute Lepers is a collection of short melodic blasts of vintage sounding rock with firm rooting in punk and power pop.  Full of guitar fired melodies and enough hooks to make a meat locker jealous, these songs kick down the door to woo you with a mix of pure sarcasm, sugary sweet harmonies, and a feel as comfortable as a favorite pair of ripped jeans.  These tales of boredom, summer, and everyday life won’t rest until you sing along to them.  I know it’s baan out for a while but this album is one of those records that you have to get if you have a craving for vintage sounding punk rock that’s not necessarily a generic Pistols clone.  Trust me on this one - pick it up.  (BOONE)
