I’d been looking around online for things when I came across this band on said system of tubes and decided to pique my curiosity.  Last Lights put things full throttle on this record with fast, energy laden, angry HC blasts that kicks ass and takes names.  Delivered with the intensity of a power plant, these songs are declarations of anger towards the world around us with a somewhat personal slant.  Loud and aggressive these five songs reveal a band that could have potentially carved its own niche in HC circles.  Sadly, that’s not to be as their vocalist died of a brain aneurysm in December 2008 and the band played their last show back in January.  While this tragedy tends to cloud things a bit, this EP is a sonic attack that needs to be heard.    (BOONE)
