DREW DANBURRY - "This Could Mean Trouble You Don't Speak For the Crowd" CD
I'd been meaning
to get to this disc for a while but du to time and space issues (one of the common drawbacks of doing a zine kids) I hadn't
been able to truly get to it until now. Danburry's latest album shows him mopving his indie folk rock style forward
as his mix of both breezy up tempo songs meets with more introspective ballads. Thie time around, the production has
gotten more prominent with effects making appearances at some poinhts and songs that aren't as strictly acoustic as some of
his earlier work. While this seems like a stretch, it helps to carry the feel of Drew's past records forwards. This
album manages to reveal both the folk and indie elements of Drew Danburry as he puts his own spin on them and makes it all
damn catchy in the process. (BOONE)
