LYD - "Abolute Lyd" single
I came across this single online a while back and decided to
see what it was about. This Norwegian band offers up some high octane hard as nails rock n roll with definite hints
at punk and garage rock. These two songs are built on a blend of heavy guitars, punchy beats, and hooks that lie just
this side of classic pop rock with chantable choruses and a frenetic pace that pushes the songs over the top. These
songs blast out the speakers with the subtlety of an improvised explosive and lay waste to all who try and fight their groove.
I had never heard of this band before I came across this single so getting this type of aural fury was a very pleasant
surprise indeed. Definitely something I recommend checking out. (BOONE)\
