This is another disc that came our way a little while back but we couldn’t get to because of time and space constraints until now.  Seizure Crypt plays loud fast HC spruced up with some elements of metal.  Full of riff-laden guitars and pummeling drums, this band’s sound mines the gray area between three-chord vintage hardcore and the more death metal/thrash stuff that the subgenre has become in recent years with songs apparently about frustration, the media, a crazy cat lady, narcs, work and the like (or at least that’s what I heard on first listen).  It’s a bit of a strange ride at times but Seizure Crypt has something that will appeal to a lot of HC fans these days.  (BOONE)
