SINKANE – LP
I’d
been curious about this album ever
since hearing it was coming out soon.
Sinkane returns to action with a harder driving effort that appears to
be more rock based though still willing to veer into free form and experimental
music. However, the mostly instrumental
nature of the album lets the music flow more as one continuous piece of music
rather than an album of songs that may not mesh as well. From hard rock to experimental
jazz, Sinkane
takes the listener on an adventure that can be scary, a little off putting at
times, but maintains a sonic catchiness that reveals why artists should take
risks more than they tend to. Admittedly
this album isn’t for everybody but those with a sense of adventure will
definitely enjoy this audio ride.
