I WANT TO KILL
EVERY HUMAN - "I Want to Kill Every Human" single
This seven inch had been in out backlog
pile for a bit and had almost been forgotten when I cam across it while looking
for something else. With plain labels
and no mention of track listing, this single is a slab of pure dissonance as
instruments layer noise to create something more akin to sound collages than
most rock or rock like music. Side A is
a dense track full of effect tweaked guitar and feedback driving the layers of
sound into apparent aural chaos. The
flip side is more minimalist, fueled more by squeals of feedback and what
appears to be backwards guitar that slowly builds up over the course of the
track. While at first I thought this was
supposed to be one long track, some minor research reveals them to be separate (though
they do compliment each other fairly well).
This definitely won't be everyone's bottle of whiskey but fans of
industrial music may find a lot to dig about this seven inch. (BOONE)
