ASSPISS – “Fuck Off and Die” EP

      This came to our box a while back and ended up in out backlog pile until we came across it recently and decided to see what it was about.  This Colorado (I think) based band offers up fast, crude, tear shit up hardcore full of buzzsaw guitar chords and loud fast beats.  These guys stay in the angry bordering on nihilistic vein with some amount of tongues in cheek for the most part.  However, topics such as being shot with rubber bullets and classism do make appearances in here as well.  Asspiss isn’t reinventing the wheel here (though people who are used to corporate pop punk will find the name shocking and possibly offensive) but readers who like loud, angry vintage sounding HC and aren’t afraid of a little shock value will find something about this band they enjoy.  Comes on blue vinyl with insert and stencil of the band’s logo.  (BOONE)
