FISH KARMA

CD This
was one of those things I was curious about just on name alone. The latest from
Fish Karma is a blend of
acoustic folk music with some electric rock arrangements and a full band. What
arises are songs with a somewhat skewed
look on things that shape how things are done in 21st Century
America. Whether its finding out your partner’s having sex with clowns or
Republican meetups at Bohemian Grove to a tale of two torturers who fall in
love, Fish Karma creates an album that comes across like Bob Dylan’s twisted
cousin. Fans of serious singer-songwriter
material may be turned off by the strangeness here those willing to take a
chance will be rewarded. (BOONE)
