I
came across this when I was on the system of tubes (as AK Sen. Ted Stevens referred to the Internet a long time ago) so I
decided to pique my curiosity and download this. On this sampler, Orange a brief selection of
introspective songs that sonically takes from helpings of folk, indie rock, and blues featuring minimalist instrumentation
built around Orange’s guitar and vocals. Part personal communication and part artistic journey, the songs’ stylistic twists give each piece
a unique sonic handprint though there’s something that glues it all into one unified vision. While it does take on some familiar sonic ideas, Orange’s
ability to put his own spin on them makes this something interesting. Most of
this is non-album material so if you have his album you have another reason to pick this up.
To the best of my knowledge you can only get this online as a download, but I recommend doing so; it’s worth
