DEATH WALTZ ’76 – “The Unmade EP” download EP The
band name piqued my interest so I decided to download it and check it out for myself. Death Waltz ’76 dish out
simple and melodic punk with a flair for the melodic and the occasional artsy flourish. The songs appear to be somewhat
oblique at times and somewhat personal in nature. Within this, the band walks the fine line between buzzy punk rock
angst and an almost ethereal sonic palette. This EP is slightly artsy but a footing in punk keeps Death Waltz ‘76
firmly on the rock side of the tracks. The Unmade EP is an interesting debut from a band whose sonic path makes you
wonder what they’ll come up with next. (BOONE)
