OFFICE OF FUTURE PLANS - LP
This came our way at about the same time we heard about a
couple of other singles so we were curious on the band name alone. Office of Future Plans offer up a moodier brand of hard
driving rock with a strong melodic sense and a simmering mdtempo vibe that filters in everything from late 60s style art rock
to punk within the sonic mix. Ths songs have this driving yet sometimes bittersweet bed for these tales that seem to interwine
both the personal and political within layers of guitars, cello, and rhythms that, while sometimes percolating, always drive
the point home. What has emerged is a band that carries on a vibe that should get played on rock radio but unfortunately won’t
due to the corporate music industry weasels. Given this was only supposed to be a one-off live show this band is a total surprise
