THE SURFITES - “Here She Comes Again”/”Theme From Surfites”

admit once in a while I find myself in the mood for something different so when I had a chance to hear this I decided to give
it a shot. As you may have guessed, the Surfites play surf music complete with reverbed out guitars and a light electric
piano presence. The A side if the band’s first vocal song with the RPMs joining them to sing this aong about a girl.
The B side is an instrumental carried by a clean, thin guitar melody that evokes a day at the beach with nothing much else
to do if you don’t want to. Hearing this calls to mind oldies radio and makes you think of the Pacific coast of Hawaii,
which makes finding out they’re Swedish a real shock. Not for everybody but if you enjoy surf rock and oldies, you’ll
