Yeah, I’m fully aware that this has been out for a while now.  However, I hadn’t been able to get to this record and really listen until recently.  Here, Only Crime explodes with a Molotov cocktail of fiery, in your face punk rock with oblique lyrics regarding various aspects of the world around us (whether personal ones or sociopolitical aspects at moments).  Sonically they tread the thin line between melodic punk and vintage flavored HC sometimes going to both extremes in the same song.  However, they also add their own spin to this take on punk and make things somewhat fresh.  Only Crime are best experienced live (I actually picked this up when I saw them live a while back) but their albums do show a fair amount of what punk rock can be at their best.  Many of you probably already have this but those who don’t will dig it.  (BOONE)
