First learned of this band from the region when I saw them play the Hairhole a while back so I decided to pick up their cassette.  These guys throw down some modern hardcore with some definite metal overtones.  This time around, their songs are titled after their favorite authors ("C. Bukowski," "T. Robbins" to name two examples) and built lyrics out of quotes from them.  Now set that due to backdrop of relentless rhythms and wall of scooped death tone guitars and you find a band that can appeal to metalcore fans on one hand while not following said subgenre's cliches.  It's an intense ride but a ride that should pique the interest of anyone seeking something different.  (BOONE)
