I saw this band perform at Lemp back in late February and had to pick this CD-R up.  Quiet Hands deliver short intense slabs of crust punk (for lack of a better term) with elements of sludge metal and straight up hardcore woven into their aural framework.  Rampaging blast beats and guitar that contrasts between metallic leads and scooped tone heft throws down these personal sonic battle cries.  There is a ferocity here that grabs you and refuses to let up on these three songs the MS gulf coast based band dishes out. I’m not certain that they still have CD-Rs of this available or not but if all else fails at least take the chance and give it a listen when you can. A must for fans of crust, HC, and metal. (BOONE)
