THE SHH- “The Burning Love EP” download EP
I came across this when I was fooling
around online so I decided to throw caution to the wind and check them out. The debut EP from The Shh is moody indie
pop with minimalist arrangements that start with wall of distortion but quickly head towards a breezier pop approach throughout
with female vocals and a stripped down blend of guitars, beats, and some keyboards for ambiance. There is an affability
to this that hints at both lo-fi and more mainstream indie that stays familiar but has potential. At this point it could
go either way but I do think this EP is worth checking out for those readers (or their friends) who have a hankering for something
on the more pop side of things. Wonder what they’ll do next. (BOONE)
