I came across this while bored and searching randomly online when the cover piqued my curiosity.  The latest EP from The Love Dimension is a short blast of lysergic drenched neo-psychedelic garage rock where fuzz lead guitar drives through often driving beats and a feel somewhat awash with reverb and the occasional burst of feedback.  The resulting songs walk the gray area between garage rock hooks and tripping out into the oblivion with the song taking precedence throughout.  The band’s rough around the edges sound sports many of their influences proudly (a cover of “Heart Full of Soul” kicks things off) and doesn’t really claim to be anything other than what they sound like.  More poppy than acid rock, the Love Dimension remains on the garage side of neo psych and has the listener curious regarding what lies ahead for them in the road.  This EP is only available digitally so seek it out in the usual download spaces and whatnot.  (BOONE)
