DORADO - “Amidst the Wolves” download EP
I was fooling around on the Net looking for music
when I came across this band and was curious. Dorado throws down modern sounding punk with hints of HC and a careful
mix between melody and full throttle speed. Seemingly personal/somewhat angry callouts abound here with a tension and
anger that cuts throughout. Some of the production does lean a little towards the mersh side of modern punk but the
songs stay in fairly short semi fast manner that drives forward. Dorado’s music still wears a bit of their influences
on their sleeve but readers into the more modern stuff and some of the bro leaning bands might get a kick out of this.
