BOCKMAN - "Chasing Dragons" CD
Okay, I admit I'm a little behind in getting to this but, in our defense, we didn't learn of this disc until recent so
we couldn't get to this until now. Bockman's latest shows them moving further from their alleged jam band roots into a style
of orchestrated indie pop rock based around a prominent keyboard presence and tons of melodic guitar hooks. The sonic mix
creates music combining layered arrangements and a vibe that melds both late '60s psych pop with artsy rock. This is great
music to listen to while driving around on a rainy day. I admit this album won't be every TTWN reader's cup of sake but those
with a wide interest in various types of music, and artsy melodic songs in particular may likely find enjoyment listening
