RVIVR - “The Beauty Between” LP
Been meaning to get to this for a while but work and personal
obligations have gotten in the way so here goes. The latest from RVIVR builds upon the band’s super high octane
melody laden punk rock and takes it further. Forged with crunchy, sometimes bittersweet toned guitars and an always
on point rhythm section, their songs can go from simmer to rush the barricade on a moment’s notice as they sing of personal
issues in a way that hints at a larger picture. Personal without being emo, this album is equal parts introspection,
insight, and elements of anger as these tales of life, struggle, and moving on move forward. It’s a journey that
will move the listener as the band creates a wide palette sonically without straying from their punk rock roots. RVIVR
has always been one of those bands that gives you an aural kick in the ass while getting you to think along the way.
