MY PARADE - "Good Manners No Morals" download EP
Been wondering what this band was up to when I found out about this new EP from them, which meant I had to check them
out. On Good Manners No Morals My Parade continues their danceable punk with a sound full of tweaked beats, occasionally
dissonant guitar lines, and a groove that keeps moving forward. Catchy yet frantic, the five songs here walk the line between
punk rock edge and dance music rhythms while keeping the songs as the main focus throughout as they take on such topics as
scandal, the difference between manners and morality, and life in post-recession America amongst other things. Once again
My Parade manages to create a recording that can be part fun, part commentary but always lie in the sonic moment. To the
best of my knowledge it's only available as a download but if they put it out on CD I will let you know. (BOONE)
