NATURE BOYS - "2nd LP" LP
Picked this up a while back when I saw them play @ Blank Space but didn't have the time to listen to it until now. The
second album from Nature Boys finds them taking their high energy rock n roll sound into a more of a vintage hardcore punk
footing in many instances with fast tempos and a guitar sound that mixed wall of overdriven power chord fury with touches
of artsy death rock (reverbed/delayed choruses) and doomy riff rock. A little rougher than their earlier work, there is a
moodiness here that's both disarming and explosive in delivery and vocal harmonies that bring the songs to another level.
