THE LIMIT CLUB - "Wild Four" EP
I came across this when I was online and a sample of it piqued my curiosity enough to download it. The Limit Club play
a tweaked and twisted form of psychobilly where raunchy sax adheres to swinging upright bass and
simple drumming to create songs that are slightly off kilter with a sense of surrealism woven within the crunchy guitar
and straightforward yet always moving beats. While the band plays with the format of psychobilly, they put some twists in
it to make something their own while staying true to their style. Still don’t know a lot about this band but the
four songs here are a change from the often formulaic stuff
you hear from way too many bands these days. (BOONE)
