THE BRIGHTON BOYS - "MMXV" download EP
I was online and a bit curious when I came across this and decided to download this and listen. The Brighton Boys deliver
a batch of slick radio friendly pop punk where oversaturated guitars and gooey melodies combine in almost bubblegum fashion.
These love songs and tales of teen angst have a mersh feel that would fit quite nicely within mainstream radio's version
of pop punk. While there is a slickness that almost distracts from the music, there is also a hint of a good power pop band
within all this window dressing. What they choose to do with this struggle remains to be seen though fans of poppier music
may find something interesting about the Brighton Boys and their debut. (BOONE)
