NAPALM DEATH - "Apex Predator - Easy Meat" CD
I've been wanting to hear this for a little while but haven't had the time due to a lack of time from the new job and
other life obligations getting in the way. On their latest album the pioneers of grindcore filter in several different facets
of their history in this audio onslaught. Jumping from an almost spoken word dystopian feeling intro, the band veers into
intense grindcore full of blazing tempos, crunchy and sometimes dissonant guitars, and growled angry vocals that explores
issues such as class conflict, appreciating friends, greed, and other factors of the inequality and injustice around us. Walking
the line between blast beat fueled wall of grind and more intricate technical portions, the band emerges with an aggressive
disc looks the problems around them straight in the eye and then jumps down the collective throat to see what they can pull
out in payback. If you like Napalm Death you already know what to expect. However, feel free to play this for newly minted
fans of extreme music and see what their reaction is. Need to hear this more often. (BOONE)
