After seeing this band play at Diva Haus back in May I was curious so I picked this EP up to hear more. The latest from
Born is a blend of early sounding hardcore punk and vintage death rock that takes reverb/flanged guitar and spreads it over
medium fast driving songs that aim for the throat and won't let go. Moody yet ferocious, these four songs have a feel that's
part introspective and part confrontational throughout. While I'm uncertain about what the songs are about (I don't read or
speak Icelandic) the music carries through and draws the listener in as they hint at both punk and post-punk on the verge
of death rock. Born's music will be jarring to those who only know what commercial. (BOONE)
