QUESTION - EP
I first learned of this band when I saw them live last summer at one of the last shows held at the No Coast (R.I.P.)
and had to pick this EP up. Question's debut EP is in your face fast HC punk that comes off with a ton of energy and raw
guitar driven fury. The songs on this green vinyl 7" take on topics such as apathy, Christianity, struggling to survive,
and the inequality around us among other things turned into loud, fast, power chord driven battle cries amidst the insanity
of business as usual. Played with a ferocity not often seen these days, this EP recalls a time when HC punk bands didn't
give a fuck about commercial success and played the music (as well as sung about topics) they wanted to make. I think they
might have remastered this since I picked up my copy (this pressing admittedly has "Dirty mastering" according to
the liner notes) but I have a feeling that the music of Question will stand out regardless of which version you get of this
EP. Check with the band to see if it's still available and, if it is, by all means go out and get this. (BOONE)
