WHITE LUNG - "Paradise" LP
I learned about this album suddenly while I was on a certain social networking site and it popped up on my feed. Curious
I tracked down a stream of it to check out for myself. On their latest White Lung delivers up-tempo spacey punk influenced
rock built on reverb tweaked guitars and tight hooks that lie between simmering and full sonic explosion. However, the band
has embraced a fuller production with sounds that may or may not be synthesizers taking a more prominent role on some of the
songs and a slicker sheen on some guitar parts. Walking the fine line between post modern rock and pop gloss and punk fueled
fury is difficult but the band manages to pull it off while still keeping the spirit of the music intact. White Lung takes
a leap into a meld of raw ferocity and modern sheen and came out unscathed. (BOONE)
