TANKINI - Do U Suk digital EP.
I came across this while looking around online so I decided to take a plunge and give this a listen. The first EP from
Tankini is fast yet melodic punk rock with high energy power chord driven guitar and a medium fast delivery that walks the
grey area between pop punk and vintage style HC. These personal anecdotes are dished out with a knack for melodies and harmonies
in the choruses that grab you and refuse to let up. This is rough around the edges punk whose emphasis on melodies remind
you what poppy punk used to be before it became a glossy cliche of what it should be (I can't say where it started, maybe
if you blink). Tankini's first EP is a release that goes for the barricades and puts a smile on your face. Listing this
as a digital EP mainly because the cassette is sold out; thus downloads are the one option you can get this on. (BOONE)
