PANTHER - "24 Kt God" CD
This has been one of those discs that I've been listening to for a while but hadn't really had a chance to really check
it out until recently. Panther's latest finds the duo creating melodic art cum indie rock that fuses organic and electronic
instruments in a aural mesh that's sometimes avant-garde, sometimes quirky, but has a vibe and a feel that piques your interest
while getting you to move your feet in the process. Yes the songs are danceable but they manage to avoid much of both the
dance music and alleged indie pop clichés we've all heard too much recently. This is one of those albums that should be a
must have for fans of artsier music but also might want to dance on occasion. This album is definitely worth checking out.
